ABOUT US
Founded in 2013, Alexandra Park BJJ is a not-for-profit Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu club based in North London. At Alexandra Park BJJ, we aim to be inclusive. Everyone can benefit from this incredible art, not just the athletic or ultra-competitive.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a dynamic martial art and combat sport utilising takedowns, holds, and submissions. BJJ focuses on leverage, positional dominance and mechanical efficiency, making it an incredibly grappling system. Apart from the obvious benefits that can be obtained by practising BJJ, like general well-being and fitness, BJJ can improve other individual skills like – self-confidence, mental maturity and strength, discipline and dedication and a sense of community.
So, if you would like to develop core strength, endurance, flexibility and some pretty formidable combat skills, contact us for a free introductory lesson.
All coaches are fully qualified, and anyone training at Alexandra Park BJJ must apply for membership of the United Kingdom Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association (UKBJJA). We are affiliated with Sasquatch Studios.
